Around Mont Blanc
Circling Western Europes highest mountain, this classic hike offers a chance to see three of the main countries to share the Alps - France, Italy and Switzerland on what is considered one of the world's best walks. Mont Blanc (4,056m/15,767 ft) is an impressive mountain flanked by spectacular glaciers, high passes and beautiful alpine villages. This trip affords some of the best mountain views in the Alps.
Each pass opens up a new and exciting vista of the great peaks of the Alps. The trail is mostly moderate, but with a few challenging ascents. It is however well within the scope of most walkers. Trails are well defined and easy to follow, traversing high passes beneath spectacular glaciers or passing through Alpine villages. The satisfaction of completing one of the worlds great walks provides the finishing touch to a great holiday. This tour is arranged on set departure dates to spread the huge cost of moving baggage over a larger number of participants. There will be as many as twelve participants travelling at the same time.

TRAIL MARKERS: This route is very well marked.
ACCOMMODATION & MEALS: 10 nights in hotels of 2 or 3*, 3 nights in simple hotels more akin to mountain refuges. Ensuite facilities are not always available. 3 evening meals are included.
TRANSFERS: Transfer by coach from Geneva airport to the first hotel is available if you rendezvous at the airport with our incoming group flight from London on the dates specified. Journey time 2 hours. Return transfer also included to connect with London flight.
